本課程介紹主要介紹生質物化學品、應用及產品，講解生質物的結構、處理及改質，其中包含生質塑膠、多醣類、纖維素、幾丁質與幾丁聚醣、膠原蛋白等原料，並介紹目前生物質為原料之高分子產品與應用，在課堂中討論生質物可應用的新方向，以專案計畫的方式介紹新產品。
