課程介紹
透過Kiyota&Jinji(2017)及Feenstra(2004;2016)各章節貿易理論與實證資料的實際操作,配合STATA程式撰寫學習到進階貿易資料處理與實證技巧。另外,透過ITC等貿易資料庫學習如何處理資料及在實證上的應用。[By reading and operating chapters in Kiyota & Jinji (2017) and Feenstra(2004;2016) and using STATA programing, one can learn advanced techsisnique of data mining and empirical analysis. Furthermore, by employing the ITC data, one can learn the application of empirical analysis.]

There will be one final empirical project: The empirical project will have students analyze trade data to address issues raised in class and which are currently important issues in the field. It will be due two weeks before the final week of class. One should choose one topic from Feenstra (2004;2016) as bellow linking core trade issues.
