課程目標 Goal：
The course aims at building up freshman students’ language ability in using English as a means of communication and gaining knowledge.
 
評量方法 Grading Rules：
1. 出席狀況 (缺席-1分，可用部分課外活動相抵；請假不扣分，請假附證明，依本課規定辦理，無證明文件請假2次為限，無法補考；遲到兩次算一次缺席。)

1. Attendance (Skip the class -1, could offset by attending some extracurricular activities; any leave should uplaod proof to school's "Student Affairs Information" so that it wouldn't affect your grade; late to class for two times count as one skip. You could only take 2 leave without proof. Can't do the make-up test.)

成績計算 Grading：
Review tests: 40%
GEPT test 20%
Quiz in iLearning 20%.
Homework, assignment, class attendance and participation 15% plus addition and deduction to term grade 5%.
