在環保意識高漲、食品必須符合農藥殘留標準之下，如何正確合理的使用農業藥劑已成為防治有害生物最重要的課題之一。本課程將涵蓋基礎原理與實驗操作分析兩方面，讓學生除了對農藥的基本構造、毒性與致毒機制等基礎原理有清楚的認識之外，也能藉著實驗操作分析、市場調查與田間實務觀摩深入了解農藥的使用技術、安全管理與農藥對環境的影響，以便未來在相關工作職場得以正確判斷應用，使農藥對有害生物的防治既有效又安全。
Under the awareness of environmental protection and acceptable daily intake of pesticides, how to use pesticides rationally and safely became one of the most important issues. This course includes principles of pesticides and basic toxicology, bench work and data analysis, and the performance of field trial. Hopefully, students may learn and apply all of these theories and techniques in their future work and fulfill the goal of rational and safe management of pests.
