課程介紹

This course will introduce the role of libraries and the concept of information literacy. A combination of lectures, reading, video clips, small group discussions, in-class and computer-based exercises, and assignments will be used throughout this course.

 

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:

   # Understand the concept of information literacy;

   # Understand the organisation of library resources;

   # Determine needs for information;

   # Effectively access information needed;

   # Critically evaluate and analyse information and its sources;

   # Organize and synthesize information; and
   # Effectively use and communicate information.
