課程介紹
Retailing is a combination of activities involved in selling goods and services directly to the final consumer for personal or household use. This course will present an integrated approach to retail management. The course will draw on the experience of students in various retail formats. Not all the material in the assigned textbook will be covered in class; the course will focus on main retailing activities, such as retail strategy development, understanding the customer, market and location selection, merchandise buying and handing, store layout and design. During class, students are expected to ask questions if necessary.
