課程介紹
本課程旨在透過多元主題討論,增進綜合語言技能,同時開展文化認知。課程提供個人及小組語用練習機會,並鼓勵學生利用多媒體素材,如網站、新聞、電影等,延伸學習觸角。期望學生於課後能有效使用英語多角度學習,在滿足實際生活需求同時,進而深入批判性思考重要議題,最終內化自發性學習技巧。
This course aims to advance integrated language skills and develop cultural awareness through topic discussion. Structured opportunities are provided for individual and group-based practice. Student participation is further encouraged in exploring multimedia learning resources, such as websites, news reports, and movie clips. After completion of the course, students are expected to (1) use English more effectively for study purposes, (2)
employ practical language strategies to tackle real-life problems, (3) think critically on complex issues, and (4) develop self-study skills for independent English learning.
